| Project Summary | To promote sustained and healthy growth of SMEs in the Asia-Pacific region, China proposes to host APEC Optimizing SME Business Environment Seminar 2019. This seminar focuses on the theme “Creating an enabling environment for the creation and development of SMEs” and serves as a dialogue platform between public and private sectors. It fully aligns with one of the missions of SMEWG Strategic Plan 2017-2020, namely “promote the development of an enabling environment”. From the perspectives of helping SMEs to integrate into global value chains, creating an enabling environment for SMEs to create and develop, and improving the SME public service system, this seminar will explore ways and experiences on how to create a better business environment for SMEs. The seminar includes both keynote speeches and interactive dialogues. As one of the important side events that being organized before the 48th APEC Small and Medium Enterprises Working Group Meeting, APEC Optimizing SME Business Environment Seminar 2019 will be launched on May 29th, 2019 in Qingdao City, China. |
