Project Summary

The purpose of this workshop is focus on Waste to Energy in the context of “APEC Guideline for Quality Electric Power infrastructure”. The workshop intends to enhance the capacity of the APEC members to understand Quality Waste to Energy power plant and improve 3E+S (Energy Security, Economic Efficiency, Environment + Safety) of Waste to Energy in the APEC region.

 The key objectives are: to provide vital information on “APEC Guideline for Quality Electric Power infrastructure” and specific information on Waste to Energy in the context of the above Guideline and issues on Waste to Energy; to share experiences on requirements for introducing Waste to Energy plants in municipalities.

The summary of the workshop will be presented at the Expert Group on New and Renewable Energy Technologies (EGNRET).
