Project Summary

APEC economies are cooperating to further develop work on groups with untapped economic potential, such as Indigenous Peoples as appropriate, including to help Indigenous businesses overcome barriers to trade. Public, private-sector and Indigenous-led interventions could unlock economic opportunities, but more information on good practices is needed.

This project will:

-   Organize a workshop alongside SOM3 to explore examples of public policies, Indigenous-led programmes, and business practices that increase access to trade benefits for Indigenous businesses and entrepreneurs.

-   Capture workshop outcomes in a Summary Report.
