| Autonomous shipping is one of the most promising new technologies that can significantly increase safety of navigation, efficiency of shipping companies, and improve working conditions of seafarers. Currently, APEC region is the world’s leading region in autonomous navigation development and its Economies can benefit from the its soonest implementation. This requires an international cooperation due to the global nature of the maritime transport, and the project is aimed at establishment of such cooperation and wide knowledge sharing. |
