Project Summary

The objective of this project is to deliver policy recommendations for policy makers in APEC economies and beyond, for development and SME supporting agencies, on how to foster the financial access and financial services for MSMEs.

The project aims to provide a venue to discuss on best practices and technologies, as well as to share strategies for improve financial access mechanism for MSMEs in the APEC region.

In this context, Thailand proposes to hold a one-day webinar which will bring together financial policymakers, economists, MSME representatives and government officials from the APEC member economies and beyond. The webinar will focus on lecture and presentation on innovative means to access to finance and credit mediation scheme from success economies and discussion on further actions to promote MSMEs’ access to finance in APEC economies.
