The Asia-Pacific Information Platform on Food Security (APIP) is a system for sharing information on food security online. It has played a key role of sharing information on Food Security online since 2012 in Asia-Pacific Region.
However, APIP has some problems like no updates recently, and has not been fully functioning for sharing information among economies. Therefore, Japan will renew the APIP as a useful platform.
As parts of this project, we will have a questionnaire related to the new APIP, and hold a Webinar in December,2021 (TBC). Through these activities, we will make a better platform.
Our target is to launch the new APIP (using the APEC Satellite Page). It will include the information about best practices, private sectors, along with the stock-taking exercise of APEC Food Security Roadmap towards 2020 in Malaysia year(2020), and the Food Security Roadmap Towards 2030 in New Zealand year (2021).
