Project Summary

This proposed project will focus on addressing the challenges resulting from the COVID-19 crisis, the new industrial revolution, and sustainability trends. The first priority is to create the conditions for digital-enabled economic recovery and green growth through best practices sharing, capacity building and policy dialogues, which ensures widespread adoption of digital tools and solutions to drive productivity and develops inclusive plans to create opportunities for all the people. Another crucial objective is to build green and resilient supply chain through digital innovation and carbon neutrality cooperation, which accelerates the mutual enabling effect between enterprises on the supply chain.

Case collection and survey will be launched in September 2021–Oct 2021. A half-day workshop will be organized with theme of digital innovation to enable SMEs’ green development on Nov 2021–Mar 2022 in Qingdao City, China. A research report on global supply chain collaborative innovation will be presented on Small and Medium Enterprises Working Group during Apr 2022–Jul 2022.
