Project Summary

To promote the application of clean coal technology (CCT) and to facilitate capacity-building of energy policy management for APEC economies, Project of Exchange and Training on Clean Coal Technology and Clean Energy Policy is proposed. One-week high-level exchange and training program will be carried out in May 2019, in Ningbo, Zhejiang, China, by CCT Center (Clean Coal Technology Transfer Program Joint Operation Center), APSEC. Two participants from each economy, such as senior government officials, are expected to attend, and the total number will be forty.

According to the survey conducted in 4th Asia-Pacific Energy Sustainable Development Forum, the main topics will include the development and application of the advanced CCT, China’s experience on policy planning, implementation as well as its effects, and information exchange among APEC economies. Famous professionals - mainly Chinese experts and also foreign specialists - will be invited to give speeches; experience sharing among economies and site visits to advanced power plants will be scheduled.
