Hundreds of millions of people in the world find a source of livelihood in fishery and aquaculture sectors. Aquaculture will make additional contributions to enhance the food security. The project will ensure the training workshop participants understand and learn the knowledge, information and some eco-aquaculture techniques through the 4-day training course, provide a platform to share the information of aquaculture and the best experience about the technologies of hatchery and breeding, feeding, farming and processing and raise the public awareness to promote sustainable aquaculture to address food security. The project will be an important capacity building platform for all the APEC economies to enhance food security.
