Project Summary

Two workshops named “2018 workshop on the analytical technology of new psychoactive substances in food” and “2018 international workshop on food safety and food adulterated with drug” will be held in Taipei in June and September 2018, respectively.

Experts from APEC economies will be invited to deliver speeches and share the knowledge and experiences about regulations, analytical techniques, monitoring systems and mechanisms of food safety and food adulterated with drug as well as new psychoactive substances. The activities will include discussion on the establishing of information exchange platform for analytical techniques and illegal products. The experience sharing between APEC economies will help on the fighting of international food adulteration and increase the cooperation opportunities.
