Project Summary

Under the previously established Cyber Indicator Project within the APEC-TEL Security and Prosperity Steering Group (SPSG), the U.S. would like to propose a workshop that would be an overview of: the ways in which the U.S. approaches public-private partnerships in the field of cybersecurity; the ways that those partnerships enable cyber threat information sharing; and an update and overview on the latest initiative to share threat information in real-time (AIS) between the public and private sector. The workshop would consist of a panel on the U.S. approach to public-private partnerships in cybersecurity followed by an overview and update on Automated Indicator Sharing. Finally, there would be a section on critical infrastructure and cybersecurity trends. This workshop would take place in Kyoto, Japan at the upcoming APEC-TEL 54 meeting from October 30-November 4, 2016.
