Project Summary

Meeting the goal of the “23rd APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting Declaration,” the funding criteria of “Informal Senior Officials’ Meeting” 2015 in Lima, and the PPSTI 2016 project objective, this proposal designs an HRD-based competition frame of social innovation through bio-energy technology application. Young entrepreneurial teams across APEC Economies will be motivated onto an O2O platform to tackle sustainability problems in their own community. Through a well-designed process of participatory learning by real-site training and virtual-site resourcing, co-created values will be coded online and reported.  The competition rules orient in promoting disadvantaged and female group targeting inclusive economy. Innovative MSME business models will be required in formative and summative reports. This facilitates massive information exchange and uncovers business opportunities across APEC economies. The project will be implemented throughout 2016-17, while being demonstrated in Chinese Taipei and other economies under same conditions. Other working groups will be informed and invited.
