Project Summary

The project focuses on public policies for the promotion of development of SMEs through the use of technology within new digital businesses.The main activity of the project is a one-day forum on this topic, to which Peru would like to invite delegates of member economies, as well as the local community of SMEs and technological entrepreneurs, and policy makers, among others. The forum shall share and discuss on:

1) best practices from experts in policies for the promotion of technological innovation and digital trade;

2) insights of what is happening in the region and how to take advantage of the many opportunities;

3) inspiring stories in the region; and

4) demonstrating that digital public policies apply to both big and small technological businesses (SMEs) in the digital economy.

We propose the participation of at least 3 international speakers with deep knowledge and expertise on public policy for the digital trade and the promotion of tech businesses.
