Project Summary

Policy makers need information on how a policies, programs or public interventions are working. They need to know if planned objectives and results are being gotten and are eager to learn how to improve policy performance. Impact assessment and monitoring activities allow policy makers to attain accurate and appropriate information in order to make better decisions. 

The three-day workshop on assessment and monitoring of STI policies aims to develop the participants’ capacity on impact assessment and monitoring techniques and methodologies by using case studies, domestic practices and policy analysis. 

Experts from APEC member economies will participate as speakers and share their expertise while active members of the region will be encouraged to participate in the discussions, sharing of good practices and experiences.
